Éric Gautier, from space to Nocode, his goal: to stay ahead of the game!

"I define myself as a dreamer-entrepreneur", driven by a passion for innovation and a constant thirst for new experiences, Éric is now part of the Alegria.network community by following the 30-hour online training course offered by Alegria.academy. His life before joining us was an exciting journey through the twists and turns of technology and entrepreneurship.

It all began in the space industry, as a press attaché. Eric explored the frontiers of the unknown, cultivating an inquisitive and visionary spirit alongside several astronauts. "It was beyond anything we knew; to best describe my experience, I'd say it was beyond human comprehension!"

Following this first part of his career, Éric set himself a single goal that would define his life: to remain avant-garde. 

In 2001, he launched his first entrepreneurial project with the creation of a revolutionary e-pen. Imagine scanning the barcodes on your fridge to order online - an idea ahead of its time. Although the project wasn't as successful as expected at the time, history would later reveal that it was ahead of the online shopping tidal wave, with giants like Amazon picking up the idea a few years later.

His innovative spirit didn't stop there, Eric went on to make history by organizing the first virtual press conference that same year, anticipating the rise of online communications! This virtual conference brought together over 3,000 people online, saving time for all journalists!

Continuing his search for innovative ways to simplify his life and those of others, that same year he gave birth to France's first Internet think tank, theElectronic Business Group (EBG), bringing together over 500 major companies to discuss the Internet challenges of the time. 

In parallel with his projects, Éric worked for many years as a trainer and then as a branch manager. Today, he devotes 100% of his ambition to new projects. In fact, it was to optimize his creative processes for these projects that he embarked on our training program. Indeed, Eric is convinced that AI and Nocode will facilitate his entrepreneurial projects. His two current projects are Virtual World Retail which brings together shopping, customer experience and the metaverse. The second is to open a Nocode training center in the south of France!

Your most ambitious projects?

Éric knows full well that AI and Nocode are going to facilitate the creation processes for his projects. For the first of these, his visionary spirit persists more than ever with his most futuristic project: Virtual World Retail. With his ambitious business plan, he intends to redefine the online shopping experience through the metaverse. 

"Based on the same principle as video games and virtual reality, it would finally be possible to shop by virtually visiting the world's most beautiful boutiques on site, the customer experience and online shopping will simply be revolutionized!" His business plan, with an estimated budget of 13 million euros, is available in book form in French, English and Russian.

Why did you opt for online training?

"We need to change our mentality and the idea we have of technology" Convinced that Nocode will revolutionize the internet and the way businesses operate, Eric believes it's necessary to highlight the power of AI and Nocode.

"Nocode will turn everything upside down!" As a former trainer, he dreads the time when all the professions young people are trained in will simply have disappeared. That's why he wants to train the next generation in essential skills like AI and Nocode in the future.

What are you most proud of?

When asked what he's most proud of, his answer is simple and touching: "My son". While his career path is full of successes and innovative projects, Eric's deepest pride lies first and foremost in his role as a father.

His second source of pride was his first experience in the space industry. His role went beyond mere professional responsibilities. For him, this experience was much more than a job, it was a unique opportunity to rub shoulders with exceptional beings whose activities went beyond the spatial limits of our planet.

"It was a plunge into the universe, an encounter with infinity." Eric emotionally confides the wonder of space, the universe, and the impact of this period on his life.

The unknown and innovation is what fascinates Eric the most, and he's convinced that it's going to help him a lot when it comes to continuing his training!

"My trick for turning complexity into simplicity is Access". According to him, the Microsoft database creation tool is the magic key that makes everything absolutely simple. "It's an often underrated piece of software, which many have tried to push aside, but it's where it all starts!"

For Eric, it's the ideal gateway to understanding the complex mechanisms that can be simplified by this software. He also advises starting with Excel, a tool familiar to many, to understand the relationship between the different tables.

Eric also invites the community to believe in progressive learning, sparking our curiosity to seek to understand the tools for ourselves over time.
